Robert Kraft Outlіneѕ Patriots Ownerѕhір Plаn: Sellіng or Keeріng?

Despite the franchise being worth around $6 billion, owner Robert Kraft says he never intends to sell the New England Patriots.

New England Patriots fans will never have to worry about a new family trying to buy the franchise. In a recent interview with FOX Business TV, owner Robert Kraft quickly put to rest the idea of selling his team.

“After my family, the New England Patriots are the most important thing in my life. It’s not a business. It’s a really part of my family. It’s part of the community. If we do well, it makes the whole region better,” Kraft said.

“I’m never selling it. We’ve set it up, so it hopefully stays in the family for many decades to come,” Kraft added.

Kraft has owned the franchise since 1994 after he bought it for $172 million; six Super Bowls later, the latest projections from Forbes have the Patriots valued at $6 billion.

After a disappointing 2022 campaign where the Patriots missed out on the playoffs, finishing with an 8-9 record, Kraft will undoubtedly want to see his team make strides in the offseason to get back in the postseason.

Head coach Bill Belichick has already made moves with the coaching staff, replacing offensive coordinator Matt Patricia with a familiar face in Bill O’Brien, along with hiring his first draft pick ever with the Patriots, Adrian Klemm as the offensive line coach.
